“Dangerous Woman” official album cover.

Powerhouse vocalist, Ariana Grande, just released the second single off of her upcoming third album, Dangerous Womanwhich will be released on May 20, 2016.

The song, which is also titled “Dangerous Woman”, was released earlier today and is 3 minutes and 55 seconds of amazingness. I would categorize the song as being pop with a soulful, R&B edge. It makes me want to bob my head and rock. Not in an upbeat way, but in a chill, relaxed type of way. It was also produced by Max Martin and Ariana worked with him in the past. He produced her songs “FocusandProblem.”

Throughout the song, Ariana sings to a lover whose love makes her “feel like a dangerous woman.” In the verses, she describes herself as being a take charge woman. She’s in charge of herself, her choices and her life, but, with all that being said, there is still that one person that gets her and makes her feel fearless.

This song is an amazing example of how impeccable Ariana’s vocal abilities are. She is all over the scale in this song and I love it. At the beginning of the song she starts off using her regular chest voice and by the end of the song that high belt that she’s known for comes out to play.

She really impressed me with this song and I downloaded it right after I heard it. I can’t wait to watch her perform it tomorrow on Saturday Night Live. Plus, she is also going to perform another song called “Be Alright,”  which would make two new songs in one weekend. I’m can’t wait!

Tell me your thoughts. What do you think of “Dangerous Woman”? Do you like it as much as I do?

Amira 😉
