It was only three days ago that Miss Mulatto took home the W on Lifetime’s The Rap Game. The show, which was hosted by Jermaine Dupri, was only eight episodes long and throughout those eight episodes five young rappers, all between the ages of 12-16, competed for the opportunity to be signed to Jermaine’s label, So So Def Recordings.

After it was announced that Miss Mulatto won the competition, her single, “No More Talking,” was immediately released.

The song, which is a little over 3 minutes long, embodies Mulatto’s passion to show anyone who’s listening that she is the best at what she does.

With lyrics like, “They try to doubt me/but they cannot stop me/I clean the competition like draino,” it’s clear that Mulatto definitely has the confidence in herself and her talents to make her dream come true.

Mulatto strikes me as a person who isn’t afraid to go all the way in when it comes to her music. She goes in to write, record, etc. and comes out with a hit and this song is proof. You can definitely hear the passion when she’s spitting lyrics like, “Matter fact, I don’t even look backwards/I think I’m the baddest/Tell all of these rappers I’m winning/NO MORE TALKING.”

The production is simple, but it’s simple in the fact that it doesn’t overpower her. It’s catchy, but it’s purpose is to support Mulatto and her rhymes and it does just that.

Overall, I like the song. It’s very catchy and you will find yourself randomly singing the hook. Now that I’ve heard this song, I’m definitely looking forward to seeing a video and hearing her upcoming EP.

The song is available for purchase on iTunes for $0.99, so you should definitely show her some love by purchasing it.

A Little Extra: Miss Mulatto just released a video to a song titled “Broken Record Player,” which will also be featured on her upcoming EP.
