This week’s episode pretty much had the same feel as last week’s did, except, in my opinion, it wasn’t as hype. A couple of the special guests were a little quiet throughout the show, but, I think they were like that because they weren’t familiar with Khloe and the rest of her guests.
This week’s guest stars included: Jenna Marbles (YouTube personality), Morgan Stewart (#RichKids of Beverly Hills), Malika Haqq, Tyga and Scott Disick.
You can probably guess which two guests weren’t as vocal, but though they didn’t speak a lot, they still added their input when or if it was needed.
The outline of yesterday’s show was the same as last week’s. They played games, sipped kocktails and talked. Majority of the questions revolved around sex, but they still got serious in certain parts of the show, which I liked. For example, Tyga was asked if he really wanted to marry Kylie Jenner, who is his girlfriend and Khloe’s little sister, he said yes. Scott also got the opportunity to speak his peace about all the crap that has been said about him in the press. It was one of the few times, throughout the show, that he was being real and not joking around. Jenna made a comment about White Privilege. It was very random, but her response was good.
The games they played were entertaining and, sometimes, very enlightening. For example, they played a game called ‘Faux Real.’ Khloe showed them a picture on a screen and they had to decide if the object in the photo was real or faux. At one point, she showed them a picture of a penis dressed up in clothing. It’s called Penis Photography and it is a real thing. Some woman actually makes a living by dressing men’s penises up in clothing and taking photos of them. I didn’t know that, so that was an interesting fun fact. The penises actually looked like little puppets. It was hilarious.
Each guest brought a different personality to the show and it added some depth. Because they are family, the banter between Khloe, Tyga, Scott and Malika is very easy. You can definitely tell that they are used to being around each other and that’s why it might have been a little difficult for Morgan and Jenna to join in. That could explain why they observed more than talked toward the end of the show.
We still got to learn a little about them though. Morgan touched on her recent engagement and the ladies gave her advice on how to get over some drama that she’s having with one of her friends. Jenna talked about how she got into YouTube and how she and her family deal with all the attention. She’s a funny woman and I can see why she has so many subscribers and views on her channel.
Overall, I liked this episode. I feel the same about this episode as I felt about last week’s. I do think it would be better for Khloe to include more people that she doesn’t interact with on a daily basis. I think doing that will be more interesting to watch and, who knows, she might make some new friends.
Kocktails With Khloe airs on Wednesdays at 10 p.m. on the FYI Network.
A Little Extra: I was laughing my butt off watching Tyga eat the finger foods. Literally, nobody else touched that food; he was the only one and he was going to town. I don’t think he ate anything prior to the show.
